You Thought You Were Safe...

DONE!!! MORE INFO IN A BIT!

Now I'm going to probably sleep, then work on the second/third page for this stuff. But this is what I'm turning in.

The loud CRACK! you hear pulls your attention in the direction of the abandoned construction yard near the hot springs, and squinting for a moment, you can hardly believe your eyes. Is it ...moving...?! It is! But how?! You rush over there as fast as you can in the snow, and see the old steel framework has shifted sideways and is now sinking into the ground, making way for the concrete foundations to split apart and reveal a hole in the ground below. A heli-jet is raised out of the ground, the people in the cockpit clearly spotting you. Shortly after that, a door in the side of the jet opens up, and Franz Moraine steps down to greet you. Blood spattered on his face, his grin is nothing short of terrifying.

"My word! The Rangers actually managed to catch up? Hah! Now that IS a surprise. Well. I cannot very well let you leave here alive to inform the others." The jet takes off as he says this, Franz confident in his ability to silence you.

You found the Moraines! The Ranger have heard your call and are now monitoring your comms very carefully. But it looks like the man doesn't intend to let you walk out of there alive. Letting the heli-jet leave without him, he steps forward with his trusted Weavile, intent on silencing you before it comes back. Do your very best to hold him back there while backup arrives!
